Michelle Paulo, BSN, RN is UF Health St. Johns' Administrator of Emergency & Specialty Care Services, Behavioral Health and Nursing Operations.
Ms. Paulo has been a part of the team at UF Health St. Johns since 2005, when she began her career here as a nurse in the emergency care center. She was named clinical risk manager of UF Health Flagler Hospital before being promoted to director of emergency services.
She began her career in health care as an ER nurse at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, Mass., where she worked for five years, earning the Florence Nightingale Award, which recognizes exceptional nurses within their organization who demonstrate leadership traits and routinely go above and beyond to deliver quality nursing care.
Ms. Paulo earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Rhode Island College in Providence, RI.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and dogs, Max and Jake, Portuguese folk dancing and taking Zumba Classes.
